MMS Ticketing

February 19, 2007

I just read here that the train agency in France (the SNCF) will send out ticket confirmation via MMS to mobile phones to be scanned at departure. Can you imagine if Southwest Airlines did that? Sent you your ticketing info (A,B,C) to your mobile phone in the form of bar code that could be scanned at the counter?! How cool would that be? Really, it is just the convergence of mobile and Internet, as we all know is evolving. But man, it sure would clear up the queues at BNA (and everywhere else)!
