Vegas Hangover

What is a Vegas Hangover? The sudden nadir of oxygen percentage in one’s blood stream? Immediate sensory deprivation upon leaving the strip? Not sure, but whatever it is, there are physical effects, deep health related ramifications…and I am sick with it. Aches, pains, sore throat, exhaustion, congestion.

Toward the end of Hunter S. Thompson’s classic Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, he writes something like “A little bit of this city goes a long way. Five days can feel like five years.”
